Lately I’ve been thinking the men need to be liberated like the rest of us. When you think about it, it is pretty ridiculous what our society demands of dudes in the name of masculinity. Not that I feel too bad for y’all when I’m making 78 cents to your dollar, but in the end you’ll be six feet under faster, and that’s pretty fucked up.

This is all made clearer in these times when ladies are making strides all over the place. Women-dominated industries are taking less of a hit in this recession, comediennes are starting to seep into the mainstream, and it almost looked like we coulda had a lady president for a few seconds there. Do I dare hope that chicks might even start gaining momentum in the realm of respectable music?

Yes, I do dare! Because every new Spinnerette single is better than the last. Behold, the future:

Oh, look! Somebody in the blogosphere blogrees with me. I’m Blog Blogojevich, and I blogprove this blogmessage.
